We reserve the right to change or amend these terms and conditions at any time and for any reason.
The following terms and conditions apply to the delivery options listed below.
1. All stock remains the property of Portland Wines until payment has been received.
2. Online orders are only available for local delivery within the PR8 and PR9 postcodes. National delivery or click and collect is not [yet] available.
3. Delivery slots are available
12pm – 3pm on Wednesday – Sunday
4pm – 9pm on Wednesday – Sunday
4. Customers can choose a delivery slot at the time of purchase. Orders for delivery in the 12pm-3pm slot must be placed by 11am on the specified day. Orders for the 4pm-9pm slot must be placed by 3pm that day. Delivery slots can be selected up to 7 days in advance.
5. Portland Wine Cellars Ltd will make all reasonable efforts to deliver to the requested delivery slot. On occasion this may not be possible. In these cases orders may be delivered at a later time. Customers will be advised by email of any changes to their delivery slots.
6. Due to safety and insurance reasons, we are unable to leave orders unattended. All orders must be left with a person aged 18+. If, for any reason, we are unable to deliver your order, we will return it to our store. We will then contact you to arrange a new delivery date.
7. If we are unable to deliver your order after two attempts, your order will be cancelled and a refund issued, minus a £10 restocking fee.
8. Any orders must be paid for in full online at the time of purchase. No cash on delivery orders will be accepted.
9. A minimum spend of £40 must be spent to qualify for the home delivery service.
10. Should an order be accepted where an item is out of stock at the time of purchase, the item will automatically be refunded. If the order no longer meets the £40 minimum spend required, the order will be cancelled and a refund issued. We may attempt to contact you via phone to offer an alternative product.
11. All refunds will be made to the card used to make the purchase. Refunds normally take up to 10 working days for our card provider to process. Please wait until after this time before contacting us if you have not received your refund yet.
12. Orders placed in advance may be cancelled, subject to a £5 restocking fee. Cancellations must be received before the start time of your delivery slot.
13. In store discounts and discounts for outback wine club members do not apply to orders made online (due to technical reasons!). This may be reviewed at a later date.
14. Discount offers online are not available in store.
